Jacopo Manenti

I am an AI engineer & researcher at the European Central Bank. Currently, my work focuses on building and deploying RAG-like systems for market operations experts across the ECB and the national central banks, on Eurosystem frameworks, deployed on AWS infrastructure — using different modalities, from vectors to knowledge graphs built via ontologies. I am also a candidate for the AWS Solutions Architect certification.

My research focuses on quantitative methods for central banking: network analysis for banking market transactions, and machine learning for sentiment analysis and forecasting of macroeconomic variables.

Besides my work, I am a speaker and trainer on the usage and adoption of AI for central banking, having participated in several conferences with experts across the national central banks in Europe, and having led seminars at the ECB for ECB employees.
